Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte im Hotel Merkur in Baden Baden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber. Das Bad ist relativ klein und zweckmäßig aber durchaus i.O. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Im Restaurant habe ich es als etwas störend empfunden, dass der Raum an einer Stelle zur Küche hin offen ist, da dort während unseres Frühstückes eine Diskussion stattgefunden hat, die mich ehrlich gesagt nicht interessiert hat und die aber leider so laut war, dass man alles unweigerlich mitbekommen hat.
Ansonsten ist der Frühstücksraum sehr freundlich gestaltet und vorallem nicht so sehr überheizt und stickig wie es so oft in Frühstücksräumen vorkommt.

We stayed in this fantastic hotel for 2 nights and had a great time. The nice gentleman, Matthias, has given us a lot help, including taking the luggages and guiding the parking. He also gave us detailed guidace on how to get to Caracalla, how to use it and provided us with two extra towels. The breakfast is great, too. Oh, we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival!

We spent a night at the Merkur in Baden Baden as part of a trip celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The hotel is centrally situated and yet we found it to be very quiet and restful. Our bedroom was lovely with good facilities and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff we dealt with were all friendly and helpful. It was especially useful to have access to garage parking.
Within easy walking distance are all the beautiful parks and gardens and all the amenities of the town, including numerous restaurants and cafés.
We highly recommend this hotel and the town of Baden Baden.
